"Soy la Mulata" is an album composed of classic songs from the Cuban repertoire that represent different time periods. The novelty of this album is that it is a presents the music in a present-day big band formation which contrasts the small formations the pieces were originally written for. One could say that the style of music is "Cuban Son."
